Hyndburn Customer Satisfaction Survey 2013

Hyndburn Borough Council has a dedicated Customer Contact Centre in Accrington which is responsible for answering the majority of your calls and emails to the Council as well as providing an appointment service for Benefits and Council Tax. 


In 2012/13 we answered more than 250,000 phone calls, replied to more than 25,000 emails and saw nearly 3,500 people by appointment. 


When you email the Council's [email protected] or call 01254 388 111, it is the Customer Contact Centre who responds.  We handle the enquiries for almost all Council departments including:


  • Waste and Recycling   
  • Council Tax   
  • Housing Benefits and Council Tax Support   
  • Parks   
  • Payments   
  • Elections   
  • Pest Control and Environmental Health   
  • Business Rates   


We are constantly trying to improve our services, finding new technology to support your requests and helping you to access your Council quickly and efficiently using methods that you want and need. 


As part of this, we want to know what you think of our services so we can build your feedback in to our plans.  The survey takes only a few minutes, it is confidential and we promise to take your views seriously.
